Professionals, LLC recently partnered with Abramorama, a leading film distribution company out of New York, to market their diverse range of upcoming films. Our job on each project was to build an audience from the ground up. For us, harnessing the power of social media through pixel placement is the perfect audience-engineering toolset. 

The Powerful Pixel.

A pixel is a piece of code that you place on websites to collect data in order to measure your campaign’s conversion rate, while also helping to optimize your ad performance, build targeted audiences and customize audience-specific campaign content for viewers who have visited your website.

In the case of the first film we partnered on this past year, “Looking For A Lady With Fangs And A Moustache,” having a pixel in place pointed us in directions we had not fully considered before. We knew the film would resonate with many Buddhist communities around the globe, but we didn’t necessarily know in what countries that would be the case. Using pixel data, we were able to see exactly where this film was resonating geographically. Having that information allowed us to calibrate our efforts and our somewhat limited budget, giving more consideration to the countries that were showing up in the data. In the case of this particular film, that meant taking the audience count essentially from zero to over 4 million during a six-week period.

In the end, “Looking For A Lady With Fangs And A Moustache,” and all subsequent film campaigns with Abramorama, have reached audiences of more than 10 million, breaking all past records. By approaching film projects this way, we are able to share the art and vision of our talented partners with a much larger audience of interested and engaged viewers.
