Sarah’s Fund August Outing
Sevier County seniors were treated to a lovely luncheon during monthly Sarah’s Fund Day.
This month, a precious group of ladies came together for the August Sarah’s Fund Day hosted by the Dolly Parton My People Senior Activity Center. The attendees look forward to a new activity each month and are always thrilled to see what plans await them.
Catfish at Cracker Barrel.
With August temperatures at an all-time high, the ladies decided to head to their favorite country style eatery, Cracker Barrel, where most of them enjoyed a delicious catfish meal. Lunch at Cracker Barrel is always a welcomed treat, and the air conditioned dining was a big bonus this time of year! As always, this fun group loved their special time together.
These outings, sponsored by SD Pros, are so meaningful to this wonderful group of Sevier County seniors. They provide an opportunity to cultivate friendships and simply enjoy the comfort of human connection. Do you have a loved one who would benefit from the joy of these monthly gatherings?
